Our Experience

Daylesford BuiIders began as an extension of Ballan Builders by Barry Sims who had been building family homes and businesses in the area for 30 years. Barry had taken over from his father Frank in about 1980. The tradition continued when in 2004 Barry's son Ben took over and still operates the business today.

Some local landmarks have been constructed by this building family such as the renovation of the Old Provender store into the Central Springs Inn , the balcony on the Daylesford Hotel and Cricket Willow grandstand and display sheds.

In 2009 DayIesford Builders entered the HIA Central Victorian Building Awards for the first time under the category of extension/renovation. The project won the award and progressed through to the state awards where it was a finalist.
